Stage Tour will launch December 10, 2026.

Stage Tour will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. You can wishlist on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Epic Games Store now. Digital pre-orders coming soon!

At launch, Stage Tour will be available in two regional versions: ESRB (North American Region) and PEGI | USK | ACB (European & Oceania Region).

Please ensure you select the correct version for your region when ordering. Additional regional versions may become available in the future.

Stage Tour will have four core game modes at launch - Quickplay, Judgements, Karaoke, and Tour.

• Quickplay is the familiar and classic mode that allows you to quickly hop into the gameplay on your preferred instrument type and difficulty and jam to over 90 songs either solo, or with up to four players.
• Judgements is similar to Quickplay, but with an accuracy-based scoring system. You can earn Perfect, Great, Good, and Okay judgements, that give you points proportional to the 1,000,000 maximum score possible.
• Karaoke is a more casual vocals mode that removes the originally recorded vocals from the song and lets your own voice take center stage. You cannot fail out of a song, and we won't judge the pitch of your singing, only your timing.
• Tour combines classic 5-fret gameplay with roguelite elements to create a truly unique gameplay experience that is different every time. Choose your unique set of Effects Pedals, purchase upgrades in the Store with your Stars, and journey from playing small stages to sold-out arenas.

Stage Tour will also feature a Practice Mode for players to sharpen up their skills to get themselves tour-ready.

Stage Tour can be played on Lead, Groove, Drums, Vocals, and Arcade 4-Lane & 5-Lane. Each instrument can be played on Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert difficulty.

Lead consists of the instruments most prominently heard leading the melody. This is typically Guitar, but may also be keys, synths, or horns, for example.

Groove should be thought of in the same way as Lead, but for the backing track - the parts that build the rhythm of the song. This is most often bass, but may also be rhythm guitar, keys, synths, or others.

Drums gameplay consists of four drum pads and a kick pedal, and is designed to be played with a drums controller. Pro Drums introduces cymbal notes into the mix, and requires a drum controller with cymbal attachments. Some songs that feature fast bass pedal sections will be compatible with Expert+ difficulty, which is meant to be played with two kick pedals.

Vocals lets you sing along to any one of the 90+ songs in the game with a microphone. Your pitch and timing will be key to a solid performance.

Arcade instrument types are designed to be played with standard gamepad controllers or keyboards. Instead of playing one instrument, Arcade switches between playing a variety of instruments all in one notechart with one unified control scheme. Arcade 4-Lane uses Green, Red, Blue, and Orange notes, and Arcade 5-Lane introduces the Yellow note, which can be hit with two different buttons.

We want the barrier to entry for Stage Tour to be as low as possible, so we plan to support as many instrument controllers are possible. With that said, Instrument compatibility will vary greatly based on the platform of the instrument, and the platform you're playing Stage Tour on.

Modern instrument controllers, like the CRKD guitars, the Riffmaster, and Rock Band 4 instruments will work natively with Stage Tour on the platforms those instruments support.

Legacy hardware designed for the Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, and PS2 may also work, but will require the use of an adapter, especially on console platforms. PC will have the widest array of native legacy instrument support.

Stage Tour will launch with over 90 songs at launch.

We've been revealing snippets of the setlist and will continue to reveal more as we move towards launch December 10.

The soundtrack to Stage Tour has a little bit of everything for everyone. The setlist is primarily based around licensed Rock and Metal music from acts of all sizes and subgenres, but we have quite a few songs from other genres as well.

The song selection will continue growing after launch through DLC.

Yes, Stage Tour can be played offline. There are still certain elements of the game that require an online connection, however, like online multiplayer, leaderboards, etc.

Stage Tour is being developed by RedOctane Games, a newly formed game studio comprised of members from the original RedOctane team, former Neversoft and Harmonix developers, and community leaders and developers. We're also being supported in development by the teams at Third Kind Games and Eidos Montréal.

Yes! We've already conducted a handful of closed Alpha playtests, and will be doing a closed Beta in September.
