Stage Tour Closed Beta Update

Hey all,

We wanted to share a quick update on our Closed Beta plans and shine some light on Tour Mode.

Our teams are hard at work fixing bugs, adding polish, and finishing up the game to have it ready to launch on December 10.

We have made the decision to delay our plans for a Closed Beta until closer to our launch date. This will allow us to remain fully focused on delivering a quality experience for launch, while also delivering a more comprehensive and polished experience to the Beta testers.

Having a more refined Beta will lead to more helpful and actionable feedback getting received by the team, which will be incredibly valuable in helping us determine what to prioritize for future patches and updates.

We've already received tons of insightful feedback from our demos at conventions and from multiple rounds of small and focused Closed Alpha playtests with hand-picked members of the community. We're eager to receive even more feedback from the Closed Beta, which will be by far the biggest playtest we do before launch. Participants will be selected from our mailing list, as well as those who have won a Beta invite at select events, so sign up on stagetour.com to be notified about our Closed Beta plans and for a chance to participate.

We've also been receiving a lot of questions regarding Tour Mode. Tour Mode is a completely new and unique way to play, and we want your first impression of it to be great. That's why we haven't shown much of this mode publicly yet and why we’re taking the extra time to work on it before getting it into your hands.

In the meantime, we've updated our FAQ page with tons of new questions, including a handful about Tour Mode. We hope that this will clarify some things and give you a better idea of what we have in store for you to play on December 10.
