Stage Tour is a new rhythm-action game launching December 10th featuring 90+ officially licensed songs spanning six decades, 180+ authentic Gibson®, Epiphone® and Kramer® guitars, 50+ bandmates, and new ways to play.

Play your way and take the stage with official Stage Tour hardware or select supported legacy instruments. No instrument controllers required: you can also play with a gamepad or gaming keyboard. Play solo or with up to four players locally, online, or cross-platform, mixing and matching guitar, bass, drums, vocals and Arcade in any combination.

Stage Tour will launch on December 10, 2026.

Stage Tour will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. You can pre-order hardware bundles in our shop, and pre-order digitally on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Epic Games Store now!

If you own a PS5 Digital Edition or a PS5 Pro without a disc drive, you can still play Stage Tour!

Stage Tour will include over 90 songs at launch, spanning six decades and a wide variety of genres.

We've been revealing snippets of the setlist and will continue to reveal more as we move towards launch December 10.

The soundtrack to Stage Tour has a little bit of everything for everyone. The setlist is primarily based around licensed Rock and Metal music from acts of all sizes and subgenres, but we have a wide variety of genres represented in the game.

The song selection will only continue growing after launch through DLC.

Stage Tour can be played on Lead, Groove, Drums, Vocals, Arcade 4-Lane, and Arcade 5-Lane. Each instrument can be played on Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert difficulty.

Lead consists of the instruments most prominently heard leading the melody. This is typically Guitar, but may also be keys, synths, or horns, for example.

Groove should be thought of in the same way as Lead, but for the backing track - the parts that build the rhythm of the song. This is most often bass, but may also be rhythm guitar, keys, synths, or others.

Drums gameplay consists of four drum pads and a kick pedal and is designed to be played with a drum controller. Pro Drums introduces cymbal notes into the mix and requires a drum controller with cymbal attachments. Some songs that feature fast double bass sections will be compatible with Expert+ difficulty, which is meant to be played with two kick pedals.

Vocals lets you sing along to any one of the 90+ songs in the game with a microphone. Your pitch and timing will be key to a solid performance.

Arcade 4-Lane and Arcade 5-Lane are instrument types designed to be played with a standard gamepad controller or keyboard. Arcade instrument types allow for a full-band experience by switching between playing all instruments in the song in one note chart using one unified control scheme. Arcade 4-Lane uses Green, Red, Blue, and Orange notes, and Arcade 5-Lane introduces the Yellow note, which can be hit with two different buttons.

Stage Tour will have four core game modes at launch - Quickplay, Judgements, Karaoke, and Tour.

• Quickplay is the familiar and classic mode that allows you to quickly hop into the gameplay on your preferred instrument type and difficulty and jam to over 90 songs either solo, or with up to four players locally or online.
• Judgements is similar to Quickplay, but with an accuracy-based scoring system. You can earn Perfect, Great, Good, and Okay judgements that award points proportional to the 1,000,000 maximum possible score.
• Karaoke is a more casual vocals mode that removes the originally recorded vocals from the song and lets your own voice take center stage. You cannot fail out of a song, and we won't judge the pitch of your singing, only your timing.
• Tour combines classic rhythm-action gameplay with roguelite elements to create a truly unique gameplay experience that is different every time. Choose your unique set of Effect Pedals, purchase upgrades in the Store with your Stars, and journey from playing small stages to sold-out arenas.

Stage Tour will also feature a Practice Mode for players to sharpen up their skills to get themselves tour-ready.

We have the Kramer® Guitar Controller, Stage Tour Drum Kit, and wired/wireless Microphones available for preorder in our shop right now! There are also multiple bundle options available with discounts for buying multiple items together.

We want the barrier to entry for Stage Tour to be as low as possible, so we plan to support as many instrument controllers as we can. With that said, Instrument compatibility will vary greatly based on the platform of the instrument, and the platform you're playing Stage Tour on.

Check out our Hardware Compatibility Page to see which instruments are supported in Stage Tour.

Stage Tour is being developed by RedOctane Games, a newly formed game studio comprised of members from the original RedOctane team, former Neversoft and Harmonix developers, and community leaders and developers.
